Tiny Homes in Boise

Boise is Idaho's clearest small-home market because the city continues to process ADU permits and has the strongest demand for compact infill housing in the state.

← All of Idaho

Boise is the first local market to screen inside Idaho because the city is actively processing accessory dwelling applications and has a much more developed conversation around infill housing than the rest of the state. As of March 2026, that makes a permanent ADU or compact detached home the most realistic path.

THOW buyers should still assume they need an RV-compatible site or a separate placement strategy rather than an ordinary Boise residential lot. As of April 2026, TinyHomeList lists 208 Tiny Homes building stick-built ADUs across the Treasure Valley, alongside additional Idaho builders statewide; site approval is still the lead variable.
