Tiny Happy Homes

Tiny Happy Homes is operated by Joe and Kristen Everson, who started Tennessee Tiny Homes in Collierville, Tennessee in 2011 after Joe’s nieces inspired him with their backyard playhouse. After completing seven tiny homes, the Eversons noticed customers were coming from well beyond the South, leading them to launch Tiny Happy Homes as a sister brand serving a broader national audience. Homes are built in Collierville — a suburban community east of Memphis in Shelby County — and classified as RVIA-certified recreational vehicles.

Tennessee Tiny Homes is an RVIA Certified manufacturer, meaning every Tiny Happy Homes build undergoes independent third-party safety inspection before it leaves the shop. Homes are built on trailer frames as travel trailers (THOWs), making them road-legal and placeable at RV parks, rural properties, and private land across Tennessee and surrounding states.

Pricing as of May 2026: complete custom homes from $25,000 to $52,000; unfinished shells start at $14,500. Builds range from 8 ft × 12 ft to 8 ft × 30 ft. The company’s portfolio includes the “Big Mack” model — a featured build on Tiny House Living — as well as the “Mendy’s Shoebox,” covered by Tiny Living.
