Finished Works LLC

Finished Works LLC brings over two decades of cold-climate construction experience to tiny homes, custom cabins, and accessory structures throughout Alaska. Owner Jason Underhill learned the trade in interior Alaska and applies that background to homes engineered for permafrost, seismic conditions, and extreme cold.

The company is particularly active in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and accepts projects statewide, including remote Southeast Alaska locations. Their 2022 collaboration with the Bering Straits Regional Housing Authority on a Diomede tiny home — documented by HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research — demonstrated that properly designed small structures can meet the relocation demands of climate-vulnerable coastal Alaska villages.
