Alternative Living Spaces

Alternative Living Spaces was founded in 2017 by Tony Lopez after he spent nine months converting a Craigslist shipping container into a livable home. Headquartered at 6500 W. Richmar Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89139, the company builds fully finished container homes shipped to clients’ sites — no major on-site construction required.

Each unit is built from one-trip steel containers with R-series insulation, mini-split HVAC, and full electrical and plumbing. Three standard widths are available: 20 ft (approx. 160 sq ft, starting at $48,000), 30 ft (starting at $71,000), and 40 ft (starting at $82,000). Multiple units can be placed side-by-side or stacked for larger footprints. The company has completed projects in Nevada, California, and Utah as of May 2026.
